M.E.Pre.Construction LLC ("MEP-C") is a consulting firm offering legal and program management  services to building owners, developers and contractors from project inception to substantial completion and beyond. Drawing on more than twenty-five years in the construction industry as a design professional and attorney, Michael E. Peters of MEP-C acts as the point of contact between the owner and the design / construction teams on both private-sector projects and public sector projects, providing practical, step-by- step guidance on a full range of design, construction and legal issues.  MEP-C can act either as a full-service program manager, or in concert with the Owner’s facilities management personnel, on an as-needed consulting basis.

MEP-C can assist project owners, architects, engineers, and interior designers in structuring their legal relationships through fair and well-drafted contracts; selecting the appropriate project delivery model; steering the project through the various regulatory and public approvals; managing the flow of information in the design and construction processes; and resolving disputes that arise as a part of the building or procurement process.  In short, we can act as the Owner's right hand and advisor.

Through a network of relationships built over 25 years, MEP-C can also assemble a top-quality team to supplement the capabilities of the Owner, architect and construction manager, in order to meet the unique requirements of any project.
